To worry is … sin?

Food for thought – don’t debate with me, discuss amongst yourselves!

It’s just a working theory – a hypothesis even, maybe it’s just to nudge and see where we’re at? Then inquire of God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit of what their take is on it.

To worry is … sin?

Ohhh hmmm if God tells us not to do something and then we do it, its essentially sin, right?

All that does not proceed from faith is sin… (that’s a verse)

Doubt and unbelief is… sin by that standard

Fear of the Lord is loving God so much that

You would not want to do anything that Could potentially separate you or draw you away from him…

So when the bible says

do not worry…

Do not be anxious…

Do not fear…

What you will wear

What you will eat

Matthew 6:25-28 nlt

Luke 12:22-30 bsb

The whole old testament is God saying don’t do that or you’ll hurt yourself and everyone around you… what do they do? They do the thing. And then they regret it.

Is this not that on some scale?

If God said don’t touch that

Why are we touching it!!!

If we think of worry that way, hopefully it will help us to change
